Terms of sale
What you are buying, the conditions you accept when you order, and what happens if something is wrong with a batch.
About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and every order you place with Pure Peptide Co. ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you accept them, so please read them before you buy.
We may change these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
Research use only
Everything we sell is supplied strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research use. Nothing on this site is a therapeutic good, a medicine, a supplement, a food, or a cosmetic. Nothing we sell is approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration for human or veterinary use.
Our products are not for human or animal consumption, and must not be administered to a person or an animal. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and we make no claim that they do.
By placing an order you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are a qualified researcher, or are acquiring the product on behalf of a research institution, laboratory or business.
- You are acquiring the product solely for in-vitro research or analytical purposes.
- You are competent to handle, store and dispose of research chemicals safely, and will do so in accordance with applicable law and your own institution's requirements.
- You will not resupply the product for, or apply it to, human or animal use.
We may refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe the product is intended for human consumption or any other prohibited use.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for determining whether a product is lawful for you to import, possess and use in your jurisdiction, and for holding any licence or approval your work requires. Import and possession rules differ between Australian states and territories and between countries.
You are responsible for handling the product safely once it reaches you, including reconstitution, storage, labelling and disposal, and for the results of any research you conduct with it.
Products, testing and lab reports
Every batch is assayed by an independent laboratory for identity and purity before it is listed, and the report for your batch is published against its batch number. The batch number is printed on the vial so you can match the product in your hand to its report.
A lab report describes the batch it was drawn from. It is evidence of identity and purity at the time of testing; it is not a warranty of suitability for any particular experiment, and it is not a clinical or safety assessment.
We describe products as accurately as we can. Photographs and packaging are illustrative, and presentation may vary between batches. Where a product image is not yet available the listing says so.
Orders and acceptance
A listing on this site is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy, and a contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
We may decline an order, or cancel it before dispatch and refund you in full, where:
- The item is out of stock or a batch fails our release testing.
- A price or product description was published in error.
- We cannot verify your identity or delivery address, or the payment is declined or flagged.
- We reasonably believe the order breaches these terms or applicable law.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where GST applies. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Volume pricing is applied per product line at the tiers shown on each product page. Tiers apply to the quantity of that single product, not to your order total.
Payment is taken in full at the time of order. If a price was listed in error we will contact you before charging you, and you may confirm the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Shipping, risk and title
We ship within Australia in plain, unbranded, discreet packaging with tracking. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates provided by our carriers, not guarantees, and we are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes once we have received payment in full. If a parcel is confirmed delivered to the address you supplied but you cannot find it, contact us and we will help you trace it with the carrier.
It is your responsibility to give us a correct and complete delivery address. Redelivery of a parcel returned because of an incorrect address may incur a further shipping charge.
Returns, damage and refunds
For safety and integrity reasons we cannot accept the return of a vial once its seal has been broken, and we cannot resell returned stock. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Contact us within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product arrived damaged, or its seal was compromised in transit.
- You received the wrong product, or the wrong quantity.
- The batch does not match its published lab report.
Send us your order number and a photograph of the item and its packaging, and we will replace the product or refund you — your choice — including any shipping you paid. We may ask you to return the item, and we will cover that cost.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, for a product that did not produce the result you hoped for in your own research, or where a product has been stored or handled contrary to the storage instructions on the listing.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the section above, and to the extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability arising out of or in connection with a product or your order is limited, at our option, to replacing the product, resupplying it, or refunding the price you paid for it.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from your research results, however caused.
- We are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of a product contrary to these terms — in particular any human or animal administration.
You indemnify us against any claim, loss or liability arising from your breach of these terms or from your use, handling, storage or resupply of a product.
